Proyecto Abrigo Luncheon

Proyecto Abrigo.jpg

In an effort to further support those we serve through the Proyecto Abrigo excursion, we are hosting a luncheon after worship on January 20 in Fellowship Hall. The event will be marked with street tacos, side dishes and a short presentation by Oscar Brown, David Spence and Adam Flores. At the luncheon, we will accept any additional donations that will be sent to Juarez with this year's group. Donations may include Home Depot gift cards, gently used youth (baby-age 10) clothing & school supplies.

Reiki

Every 3rd Saturday RFD offers free 20 minute sessions here at KPUMC. No appointments are taken, just come between 10am and 12:30pm.

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle hands-on technique used to promote health and relaxation. The recipient lies on a massage table fully clothed while the practitioner lays his or her hands lightly on the body in a series of positions. The positions include the crown of the head, forehead, throat, heart, solar plexus, abdomen and upper hip; care is taken to avoid personal areas of the body that might make a recipient feel uncomfortable. The effect of a Reiki session is usually deep relaxation, well-being and calm.
