Kessler Park United Methodist is partnering with Methodist Hospital to support our front-line medical personnel during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Working in consultation with the Chaplain’s Office Staff, we’ve come up with specific ways we can be helpful.

Get Involved:

Write a Card of Support
We are inviting members and friends to write cards to the ICU Staff, Chaplain Staff, or patients. Write a card to show your support, or invite your kids to draw a picture. We suggest that you “stuff” the flap tuck, rather than lick or stick it. Please lable cards: “Support Staff,” “Medical Staff,” “Patient” or “Chaplain.”

Create a Care Package
The long shifts of the ICU staff leave them little time for break, so they’ve asked us to create “Care Packages” for them. If you want to bring individually packaged snack items (nuts, candy, protein bars, pretzels, popcorn, trail mix, raising, etc.), leave them in the enclosed entry off of the church parking lot.

Please leave Care Package Items and Cards inside the “Vestibule” area, just off the main parking lot. (North Entrance: with the “Kessler School” and “KPUMC” signs.

Contribute Financially

To make a financial contribution toward this project, you can donate online or send a check to the church office. In the Note field, please indicate “Kessler4Methodist.”).

We at Kessler Park UMC have a long connection with Methodist Hospital. We’re proud to facilitate support of them in this time of crisis.
