An Update from Eric

I thought I would update you all on my condition. I am doing quite well these past few days, and most of my Covid symptoms are gone. All that’s left appears to be a slightly annoying cough which others have suggested could linger for a while.

As I’ve written online, I did receive the antibodies treatment which most definitely helped last week. This entire experience has been eye-opening in a new, existential level. For months I had heard just how bad a Covid infection can be. Even with my double-vaccination the symptoms were concerning, especially shortness of breath for several days.

I can’t imagine how challenging this disease would be for the unvaccinated, and it continues to break my heart that so many choose to not get the vaccine when they are eligible.

The primary thing I wanted to write to you today was deep gratitude. Many of you have reached out with food, texts, phone calls, and cards. They have been truly sustaining and gratifying. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers these past few weeks. It absolutely has been inspiring and helped me feel physically and spiritually encouraged.

Things are much better, and I look forward to being back with you this coming Sunday.
