This year’s KPUMC Church Council met for the first time on Tuesday. I’m grateful for all those who serve both on this body and, for many of them, on the other committees of our church that they chair.

I hope you will keep our church leadership in your prayers, as they continue to guide us through this challenging time. Like everyone else, I know that they are frustrated by the ongoing pandemic, and the social distance it forces on us.

But each month, these folks faithfully show up on Zoom, and continue to “do the work of the Church.”

Pray for them, and pray for all of us as we continue to be faithful to our call to serve God’s people.
