Imagine for a moment what it takes to get a fire burning…

It takes slow effort, building up from tiny twigs and kindling. It takes patience, to avoid the wind blowing out the small, flickering flame. But with patience and intention, those flames can grow into a fire that sustains itself…with warm and light luminous enough to mark a path.

That’s what we’ve been doing the past few years at Kessler Park UMC: Slowly, and intentionally, building new ministries with new people.

We are starting to see those fires burning more brightly, and our neighborhood is being attracted to the flame.
New groups of younger neighbors are joining us for children’s activities, worship, and at our Kessler Park Day School.
Our social justice ministries continue to draw in the greater community.
Despite a change in staff choir has gained new members this year.

We hope you are inspired by this growth, and will want to support it through the gift of a pledge to KPUMC.

Pledging allows your Church Leadership Board to more accurately determine, through God’s grace, what our likely income will be for 2025.

Take a look at the fires we are “tending now” and please prayerfully consider supporting KPUMC as we grow brighter and more hopeful in 2025.
